  • Inquiries without follow-up: 12 months
  • Active client records: during our work and up to 5 years after our last session
  • Invoices: 7 years (Belgian tax law)
  • Website logs: 30 days

Who I share it with

I work with a small number of trusted, GDPR-compliant providers:

  • Calendly — to schedule your sessions
  • Google Workspace (Gmail) — for email correspondence, stored on encrypted servers
  • My accountant and the Belgian tax authorities — only when legally required

Some providers (Calendly, Google) may store data outside the EEA. Transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Confidentiality of coaching

Everything you share during a coaching session is strictly confidential, in line with the ethical standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The only exception is where Belgian law requires disclosure (e.g. serious risk of harm).

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used today. If that changes, a cookie banner will be added and your consent requested.

How I protect your data

Your data is stored on encrypted services (Google Workspace, Calendly) protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. In the event of a data breach, I will notify the Belgian Data Protection Authority within 72 hours and you directly if your rights are at risk.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can at any time:

  • Ask for a copy of your data
  • Correct it
  • Ask me to delete it
  • Restrict or object to its use
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Receive your data in a portable format

Just email [email protected] — I respond within 30 days.

If you feel your data hasn't been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.
